I'm almost 2yrs old

Not long now and Spencer will be 2 years old.

Last week we sold the furniture from Spencers room, so he's moved from a cott to a mattress on the ground before he will go in to a "big boys bed" (single bed). He's doing pretty well, mind you, he's been sleeping on the floor at day care for some time now!

The other day I went to check on the kids when I got up, Spencer was nowhere to be found. He was laying on the floor in Melissa's scrap-room. I guess he went for a little midnight stroll! Might pay to keep his door closed at night!

He's quite the adventurer!

Yesterday Spencer took his first few steps, I think he was more surprised than his mum and dad! The look on his face was gold

By the way, I just cut my first two teeth, it was easy... seriously, beat that.

Spencers Naming Speech

When Spencer was born, the first thing the obstetrician said was "Melissa, ,you dipped out in the gene pool again, he looks like James."

The first thing i said was "my god, look at his hair!!". Charlotte had no hair when she was born, so i was in shock. The second thing i checked was his feet, to see if he had the famous Mandy webbed toes as Charlotte does, nope.

When Charlotte met Spencer for the first time, she wasn't too sure. "look, a baaaaby". Spencer was "the baaaaby" for a while. Charlotte just wanted her mummy to come home from the hospital.

It didn't take Charlotte long to realise that Spencer was a part of our little family and that she was going to have to SHARE. However, even to this day, everything is Charlotte's, not Spencer's.

These days Charlotte is proud to have a baby brother "my budda Spencer".

Spencer had really crazy hair until not long ago when we had it cut, it used to stick right up, no matter the time of day.

Some of Spencer's faveroute things include, eating, sleeping and adventures.

His favorite food is anything that fits in his mouth

His favorite colour is anything that fits in his mouth

His favorite song is whatever comes out of his mouth

He loves to dance, sing, observe and discover and he really loves a book with his mother.

My fatherly advice to Spencer is to give anything a go and take any opportunity presented. Open doors and pull out chairs for the ladies, always treat your mother with the highest respect.
